I have gotten a request from my family in Massachusetts to see some current pictures of the kiddos. Apparently, I am not so great at keeping up with a blog. Life with Littles is busy, but oh SO blessed!

Seems the only photos I have these days are the ones on my phone. Our camera has been to the repair shop once already and still isn't working properly. A return visit is in order.

Worth a Thousand Words

I love having pictures to document our days, our memories captured in snapshots. It is amazing how one picture can bring back memories that would have otherwise been lost. I do my best to take pictures of all our little ones, to make sure everyone is represented and that I don't have fifty pictures of one child and only two of another. But, I have to say, there is one little guy in particular that makes it quite a challenge. 

Benson is not my most cooperative subject. He does, however, provide endless entertainment, much excitement and many giggles around the kitchen table at meal time. He brings lightheartedness and laughter to our family. And even if he hardly ever stops moving long enough for me to get a good picture of him, I'm still able to get some that capture him, that speak volumes about what he is like. Memories in snapshots.

Our Littlest Big Brother

It warms my heart to see how affectionate Davis is toward Anna Grace. He doesn't miss a single opportunity to hug her, smooch her, hold her or tell her she is cute. I love the way he loves her. 

Happy 2013!

Happy New Year! Another year went by in just a blink, it seems. We have had a very busy, but very blessed and joy filled Christmas and New Year's.

Here are a few pictures from my phone. My real camera is broken due to a fall (or tug by a curious kiddo) off the kitchen counter. Thankfully, we have the camera insured - imagine that - and the repair is covered. I just need to get it to the repair shop.

Germs, Germs, Go Away!

We have had sick kiddos in our house. Three Sundays ago I took the boys to the doctor because I suspected ear infections. Benson woke up from his nap that Saturday complaining that his ear hurt and then Davis was up crying that night. Sure enough, a pair of ear infections between the two of them. We finished a round of Amoxicillin and I thought we were good to go.

Then, last Sunday both boys had fevers and a cough. Back to the doctor we went. Ear infections. Still. Same ears. Plus a parainfluenza virus that caused congestion and a cough that turned into croup for Davis and now for Anna Grace. No fun.

Here is Davis in the waiting room of the doctor's office this morning. He was tagging along because I had to take Anna Grace for her croup (she also has a pair of ear infections) and since he was up crying again last night I wanted to get his ears rechecked. Ears look good. Must be the eight - yes, eight - teeth he is cutting. What a big boy he is getting to be! I was glad he was in good spirits today for the first time in a while.
